I am a newbie to the site. Craving a ride Big Time! I am in Ventura, Ca. Fantastic places to ride here. Beaches, back roads, plenty of great biker fun stops and gorgeous views.

It is 1:30 in the a.m. on Tuesday.
12 butterfly catapillars got the spot light tnight right when my son brought me home.
Walking on the beach today and then hopefully a ride.

Thanks! Been resting up for 3 weeks and ready to give my neck a little test drive on a bike. Soon as the big winds die down in So CA. Glad all seems to be well with you. I'm Happy for you!

Glad nobody was around to hear me whine... The ride was based out of San Luis Obisbo. Suuuuweet riding was had by all. Good people, lotsa laughs. Now, I am waiting for the long-awaited MRI for my neck and back. Should be next week. If I need neck surgery-I'm going to do it. Been putting it off, trying to get along without the risk. I will do anything though-to be up on my own bike and feelin' the wind.

Sorry to hear about your neck pains. Hope it resolves itself soon. I too had a massive neck-sprain (thought I broke it - couldnt even move) trying to do backflips in one of those blow-up jumpy-house things at a party. Took forever to heal! LMAO - I'm forty, not twenty!
Just go with the flow, do whatever feels right and it will all work out for the better.
Thanks for being a perfect gentleman on the trip up north. It was great to meet your brother and your friends. You are an awesome rider and a gem of a guy! I really appreciated your understanding re: My pain in the neck-neck.

Yes, bummer indeed. It was just awesome no matter what perspective you looked at it from. Great company, great ride, great weather, great view, great bikes, great concert, great fireworks to finish the rally -- and great conversation!!

The same Motley Crew (as Cisco called us in a previous thread) are going to try and get together again for the Street Vibrations run in Reno in two weeks as well.
How far up Hwy 1 are you all coming? If you're going to be anywhere near San. Fran. -- then well, we'll have to make a special trip if you're going to be THAT close!
But none-the-less, I'm sure there will be many more opportunities to say hello face-to-face in the future. I look forward to the day.

Thanks Knots, patience is something I have to nurture like a flowering plant: It has taken a lot of work over the years to stay in a patient state.
I hop out frequently, like Tigger. Hurry up and wait is not a great place to sit. Letting go, and also doing whatever I can to make things happen, then I end up turning it over again to the Positive Energies of the Universe.

I've had so many winks, etc, haven't been able to keep up at all! If I tried to answer them all, I wouldn't have any time for LIFE, duties, etc. I changed my profile to request emails instead of winks. Hopefuly that will help me recognize sincere attempts to connect. That will make it a lot easier for me to respond. I will have to bite the bullet and join up soon.
I am open to making friends with anyone on BK. Looking forward to meeting any great people and riding, having fun.
Life is too short to try to find a long distance romantic relationship. Unless a guy has the ability and freedom to travel regularly, it just wouldn't work.

I have met 2 people so far. I was supposed to go to LA and meet somebody else today, but--I hardly slept last night and cannot stop yawning. Time to cuddle up with a good book and my fluffy comforter.
