I have been riding for 3 summers. I have choose to ride alone because I have a husband that don't ride. That is my alone time. I have road with some females,I must need better friends because both times it was awful. they wanted to compete for every guys attention. I didn't then they got bitchy.Please if you ride a bike act older than 2. Men ususlly either are the most boring humans to ride with or they just want sex. I get as much as I need at home and my old man hasnt complaned yet. where both happy.so who do I ride with and have I just been the one to find all the werdos!

I ride alone a lot, love it! Also have lots of riding friends, a lot of which are women. We don't compete at all, or if we are I must not really care...lol. we have womens only rides at least once a month and might have 15 bikes with 5-10 ladi passengers at a time, and that's not all of us who ride. There is a whole bunch of us bonded together on the common ground of loving to ride. Anyway riding with one other, in a pack or alone are all great times in their own way!

It's wonderful to have a riding companion, sometimes. I love to have someone along if I'm going on a trip or journey. But vacations don't always come at the same time, and people have different priorities. It's great to get inside your own head out on the road. It's great to get close to nature by yourself. I drive and ride over 700 miles a week by myself: it's a form of meditation, too.

i been ridin alone, seems like all my life. i,ll ride with ya anytime :) but right now its snowing outside and i have 3 ft of snow in the yard :( maybe see ya on the road :)

Well my feelings on riding alone are why I love to do it. Nothing negative about the people I have riden with male and female long rides and short but it helps to clear out a lot of dust in the attic. You take the road you want to take stop where you want to stop and stay as long as you want to stay. I like riding with people in twisty turny mountain covered roads. From Canada to Mexico there are beautiful places yet to been seen smelled experienced tasted embraced and just appreciated for its uniqueness. People to chat with countrysides to roll over. Beds and breakfasts and beaches and buffalo. Watching a sunflower field roll on for mile after mile all facing the direction of the glow of the sun. Which is a perfect way to spend the day. While the wind flutters the short hairs around your sun drenched face. It helps you understand why a dog loves to hang his head out the car window....Anybody wanna go for a ride?
